Miyuki® 10/0 Triangle Bead
Start by waxing and stretching your thread, use Nymo D
or C-Lon & a #11 or #12 beading needle. Tie in a
“stopper” bead, leaving about an 8” tail and begin at
step #1. *Fireline 4 or 6lb. crystal fishing line also
works great for bead weaving.
Rounds start
at the Red dot

Round 1
Pick up 12A, make a circle and go with thread through the
1st A bead just added. Continue with thread around
through all 12 beads again and through the 1st A bead
again. Circle of 12 made (C12).
Round 2
a)
Pick up 1T, 5S, go with thread down through the T bead and
forward through 1 S bead in C12.
b) Pick up 1T, 1S, go with
thread down through the T bead and forward through the next S
bead in C12.
c) Repeat a & b around, 5 more times
d) Go with working
thread up though 1 T and 2S beads added in the first repeat of
(a)
Round 3
a)
Pick up 3S, go with thread down through the 4th S
bead in R2 at (a).
b) Pick up 1S, go with
thread through the S bead in R2 at (b)c)
Pick up 1S, go with thread up through the 2nd S bead
in the next repeat of (a) in R2.
d) Repeat a, b & c around, 5 more times.
e) Go with working
thread up through the 1st S bead, this round at the
first repeat of (a).
Round 4
a)
Pick up 1S, 1T, 1S, go with thread down through the 3rd
S bead, R3 at (a).
b) Pick up 4S, go with
thread up through the 1st S bead in the next repeat
of (a) in R3.
c)
Repeat a & b around 5 more times. Weave in working thread and
end.
To add stiffness to the final
snowflake, dip the snowflake in Future Floor® Finish (wax). Dab
excess on paper towel; lay flat on plastic wrap or wax paper to
dry over night.
