Miyuki11/0 seed bead
B = 3mm Fire-polished crystal
Start by waxing and stretching your thread, use Nymo D
or C-Lon & a #11 or #12 beading needle. Tie in a
“stopper” bead, leaving about an 8” tail and begin at
step #1. *Fireline 4 or 6lb. crystal fishing line also
works great for bead weaving.

Pick up 23A, go with thread up through the 6th A
bead just added in this step. |

2. Pick
up 2A, go with thread forward and down through
the 1st through 8th A beads added in step #1.

a) Pick up 1A,
1B, 1A, go with thread down through the 17th &
16th A bead added in step #1 or #5.
b) Pick up 3A,
go with thread up through the 14th & 13th A
beads added in step #1 or #5. |

a) Pick up 1A, go with thread up through the B bead
added in step #3(a). b) Pick up
1A, go with thread up through the 22nd, 23rd & 6th A beads, step #1
or #5, 2 A beads, step #2 or #5(b) and forward through the 1st, 2nd
& 3rd A beads (of the 23A) step #1 or #5. |

5. a) Pick up 2A,
23A, go with thread up through the 6th A bead (of the 23A) just
added in this step.
b) Pick up 2A, go
with thread forward & down through the 1st through 8th A beads (of
the 23A) added in this step at (a). |

6.
Repeat steps #3 & #4. |

7. Continue necklace by
repeating steps #5 & #6 until the necklace fits. To add
clasp, Pick up 3A, clasp, 3A, go with thread up through
1 bead in necklace. Continue with thread around through
the clasp beads several times. Weave in and end thread.
Repeat the clasp directions in the same manner on the
other end after removing the stopper bead.
